And while the approach has been widely successful, some businesses - particularly larger enterprises - have experienced more difficulties than others in transforming their legacy approach into an agile mindset, culture and processes.

In response to these circumstances, the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) was designed to help large organisations successfully adopt...

Native apps vs. WordPress PWAs: Let battle commence

Sponsored When it comes to the world of technology, nothing lasts forever. Just ask Sony, whose revolutionary Betamax machine lost its market primacy to VHS, which in turn was obliterated by the DVD, only for on-demand streaming; okay, you get the idea.

Much like streaming dominates our viewing lives, native apps have become an essential, seemingly immovable pillar of digital strategy, the go-to platform for businesses looking to interface with their customers on mobile. And for...

Uniting developers and designers with Unite UX

Developer sat down with Unite UX product manager Daniel Levy to hear Progress’ plan to bridge the gap between developers and designers.

Most of us have witnessed or experienced the disconnect. The different tools used often results in a back-and-forth with constant reiterations needed. Ultimately, this wastes effort and money with a slow time-to-market.

Unite UX aims to offer a roundtrip workflow allowing developers and designers to continue using their existing...

Android Q ‘dark mode’ will help logical third-party adoption

The tracker also states, “In order to ship dark mode successfully, we need all UI elements to be ideally themed dark by May 2019”. Google...
